Club President – Clint Stanley. ( W4LLS )
Clint was born and raised in Liberty county GA. He now lives in Hinesville GA and is the Chief Information Officer at the Liberty County Board of Commissioners. On his off time he enjoys fishing and amateur radio.
He’s being an amateur radio operator for 4 years and the club president since 2023. He now holds the amateur Extra Class license.
What he likes the most about the hobby is the digital modes and talking around the world to other operators.
As far as what he likes the most about the club is the people and the activities the club is starting to do.
Club Vice President – Charles W. Smith Jr ( KN4GFG )
Charles has been our VP since 2023. He holds the amateur Extra Class license, he’s been an amateur radio operator for over 9 years.
He retired from the United States Air Force and it’s also a retired educator.
What he likes about amateur radio is being able to make friends around the world and providing emergency communications. He does this by utilizing VHF/UHF/HF/CW and digital modes.
What he likes the most about our club is it’s members and been able to mentor others.
Club Secretary / Treasurer – Jeremy Saunders ( AA4FD )
Besides being our treasurer/secretary since 2024, Jeremy is also our test session manager.
He came to Liberty county from Orlando FL and is a Lieutenant Firefighter with the Liberty County Fire Service. In his time off he enjoys SCUBA diving and camping.
He’s an Extra Class license holder and got his first license in 2005. He enjoys doing emergency communications and helping others get into the hobby.
What he likes the most about our club is meeting new people.
